Technical Suspension / Mounting Types for Industrial Jib Cranes

1. Wall-Mounted Jib Crane

   • Support: Mounted directly to an existing wall or building column.

   • Suspension: No freestanding support; depends on the buildings structure.

   • Swing: Typically 180 rotation.

   • Use case: Ideal for workstations near walls or support columns.

2. Column-Mounted (Pillar-Mounted) Jib Crane

   • Support: Independent column (steel pipe or fabricated column).

   • Suspension: Fixed to the floor using anchor bolts and foundation.

   • Swing: Usually up to 270 or 360.

   • Use case: When wall mounting is not feasible; used for wide-area coverage.

3. Wall-Traveling Jib Crane

   • Support: Mounted to a wall and runs on tracks.

   • Suspension: Suspended on a horizontal rail system.

   • Swing: Linear horizontal motion instead of rotation.

   • Use case: Ideal for long bays or production lines.

4. Overhead-Mounted (Ceiling-Suspended) Jib Crane

   • Support: Suspended from building beams or ceiling structure.

   • Suspension: Hung using brackets or clamps.

   • Swing: 180360 depending on the configuration.
